'I am disappointed' says Yaya Toure

The Ivory Coast captain and Manchester City star Yaya Toure is disappointed for not winning the African footballer of the year award. 

In previous years, the 32 - year old midfielder won the prestigious individual recognition. But this year, he lost out to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang who plays for Borussia Dortmund and he is said to be the first Gabon player to hold the title.

Disappointed Yaya Toure in his words said:

           "I am disappointed but that won't 
            take anything from anybody
            I am sure Andre (Ayew) is 
            also disappointed after what he 
            did last year".
