A 18 seater bus ran into a CRV jeep around rupuokwu roundabout. The reckless driver absconded immediately,
leaving the injured passengers bleeding and crying for help. A family of four, a husband, wife and four children were badly injured. The injured woman is in a very critical condition and has been rushed to a nearby hospital with the rest of her family.
Daybira News was at the scene to interview the occupant of the CRV jeep with his wife who escaped being hurt.
"The traffic warden stopped
vehicles and signalled to those of us
coming from the right hand side to
move. As I was driving, from no where I
heard a bang at the back of my car. The
the back windscreen of my car was
destroyed. The bus driver on sighting
what happened, he absconded leaving
all the passengers trapped in the bus".
An eyewitness who took the woman to the hospital told daybira news that immediately the accident happened, the reckless driver took to his heels leaving the woman and her little baby bleeding profusely in front of the squeezed bus. They had to take an iron to destroyed the front door to bring her.

her two legs are condemned, you will
even see her bones protruding."
